All my books exist in a screenplay form as well. Anyone interested and willing to collaborate with me  to bring any of them into production is welcome.

THE GOLDEN NIGHTINGALE

Eric Savoyard, a police inspector whose marriage is on the verge of breaking,  is called  to the scene of a young girl kidnapping.

He frees the girl but the assailant runs away. Eric notices that the girl holds a small golden nightingale.

Coming from the other side of the street, the girl’s grand father and young brother  join them , thank the policeman for rescuing her and leave.

Later that very night, while walking out from the police station toward his car, Eric sees again the girl and her brother running towards him and followed by two men. Seeing Eric, the men chasing the kids stop and back off in the dark.

Eric takes the kids to the police station and hands them to his superior Lieutenant Brandy who starts asking the usual questions but the kids keep silent, saying nothing. Eric leaves the kids at the station in the police custody and heads  home. Later, when he stops at a red light ,  the kids pop up, running toward him,  saying that they escaped from the police station and that it’s their grand father who sent them to him for protection.

Casually Eric takes the kids with him home.

That was enough  for his wife to leave him, for Eric to jump into the unknown.

Unable to make a proper prognosis for her patient, Dr. Sandy Miller calls for help from her colleague and secret crush, Dr. Brian Harrison who is a seasoned doctor with extraordinary abilities in genetic engineering and a leader in his field.
But when Dr. Miller reveals that the patient is from her home-town, that he is a police officer and his name is Warren Edward, Dr. Harrison is sent spiraling into a masked, dark rage.

As soon as Dr. Miller leaves Dr. Harrison alone with Edward in the examination room, Dr. Harrison disconnects all Warren Edward's vital tubes, and then leaves the man for dead.

Shortly thereafter, Dr. Miller returns momentarily to the room, only to find Warren Edward on his last breaths. She is able to save him and though she suspects Dr. Harrison is responsible for Edward's brush with death; she chooses to remain silent, never reporting the attempted crime to anyone.

She does, however, go to Dr. Harrison's office to confront him about what exactly happened, but before they can even talk, she is savagely attacked by a bizarre creature - one of Dr. Harrison's secret and illegal genetic experiments.

"This is a very compelling, cinematic script with lots of great story turns! The plot is fresh, intriguing and definitely has "legs"...

This script is very entertaining and the winding storyline is wonderful to follow... Again, Hammoudi, you've got a really engaging, visual film here! We are completely intrigued by your story and it promises to be a very entertaining, totally original movie!"

As I started reading this script, I realized several things.

1. The writer is very talented.

2. A lot of thought and effort went into the story.

3. The writer is very, very literate and by extension very intelligent.

4. A classic take on the hero's journey.

You have written an epic story and it's very easy to see that you are a novelist. The breadth of your imagination is amazing and I think this might make and interesting independent film ...

I really enjoyed the richness of the story itself, the characters, the witch, the magic, the monsters and the items. It was so refreshing to read something I'd never read before.

MY OPINIONS ON THE POTENTIAL OF THE SCRIPT.

This story is epic, exciting and has a broad appeal to an international audience. It has elements of films like JUMANJI, THE FALL, and STAR WARS.

"Lamalif and The Toad Skin Hat" is a HUGE story. Truly an epic. It has fascinating characters, magic, adventures and excellent lessons about love, family, faith, forgiveness, and how power, vengeance and greed can lead to disaster.

Lamalif is a fanciful tale of responsibility and sacrifice. The scripts premise is straightforward but it presents a deep plot and a large cast of character's. Main character, Amar is a selfless and honorable family man who is tasked with stopping an apocalyptic event from occuring in the town of Setwara. He is aided by his family and the few people in town willing to help. For me, this is the stories greatest strength as the cast is varied and detailed throughout.  Anyway, its an noble effort.
